SO YOU GOT QUESTIONS...

Q. PARKING

Our free car park is directly outside Sort Rehearsal Rooms, the entrance to it is via Grafton street. Do not enter via the main Cains gates, there’s another entrance opposite the Beesley and Fildes yard entrance further down Grafton Street. Please enter your number plate into the iPad at reception on arrival.

DO NOT PARK IN THE PAY AND DISPLAY CAR PARK

We have no authority over the pay and display car park. If you park there we have no way of cancelling the fine!

Please note: We cannot take responsibility for clients who park incorrectly, do not give license plate details in or who park in the disabled bay without a valid disabled badge.

All clients must give their registration number into reception in order to receive free parking.

Q. WHAT DOES MY BOOKING INCLUDE

Bookings include –

- All recording studio and monitoring equipment
- Use of all microphones and instruments
- XLR Cables, 2 sets of over the head headphones, USB cables
- Full List of equipment is available here
- Quick start guides / on site support
- Talent/Platinum selling bangers are on you…. (Sorry).

Q. THE FACILITIES

Our recording studio is located within and share facilities with the fantastic Sort Rehearsal Rooms – These include

- Accessible bathroom
- On site support
- Snack and cold drinks shop
- Instrument accessories shop (guitar strings, pics, capos, drum sticks etc ….)
- Kitchen area – fridge, microwave, kettle, cutlery and crockery
- On site luthier / guitar tech

Our Recording Studio is located 30 seconds walk from Cains Brewery Village which hosts many bars, restaurants and coffee shops (we recommend the bacon butties from Ryde!).

Q. YOUR STUFF IS COOL, BUT CAN I BRING MY OWN GEAR

Of course! We want this room to be the perfect starting point, you’re welcome to use/not use anything you like! If you are looking at bringing your own interface, please let us know ahead of time, and we can make sure it is all ready for you to plug in and go. Q. CANCELLATION POLICY

If you cancel less than 24 hours before your booking starts you will be charged at the full rate of your session.

Q. CAN WE EAT AND DRINK IN THE RECORDING STUDIO

Of course you can! We ask that you take care of our space. We’d prefer if you drink from bottles with lids and don’t eat anything messy. We understand accidents happen, but please inform reception immediately if anything is spilled on equipment.

Q. CAN WE SMOKE/VAPE IN HINK

No. But the front door of Sort gets the afternoon sun and is a nice place to sit and have a smoke. There is no smoking or vaping allowed anywhere inside the facility.
